Job Description As a Security Professional - Corporate in West Palm Beach, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and reports, support access control and incident documentation, and deliver clear, professional communication and customer service. At Allied Universal, you will work with an agile, reliable team that puts people first, acts with integrity, and delivers through teamwork.
Requirements
- Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
- Have supervisory experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a Guard Card.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the financial services location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit for employees, visitors, and vendors; verify identification and/or authorization as required by site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, suspicious activity, and requests for assistance from staff and/or visitors.
- Document patrol activity, observations, and incidents using written logs and/or electronic reporting tools, and communicate noteworthy information to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.
