About The Position

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) is seeking a Supervisor-Security to join our team. The Supervisor-Security is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and security activities within the hospital environment, ensuring the safety of patients, visitors, and staff. This role involves supervising security personnel, managing operational tasks, conducting investigations, and ensuring the hospital's safety protocols and policies are effectively implemented. Position Specifics: o Department: Security o Core Function: Support Services o Schedule: Full Time, 40 hrs/wk o Facility: Based at St. Vincent's Hospital with regular travel to other 3 WI hospitals o Location: Green Bay, WI o Compensation that aligns with your experience

Requirements

  • Associates degree in criminal justice, security or safety is required. High School diploma or equivalent, plus 3 years of experience in security, public safety, or law enforcement may be considered in lieu of an Associates degree.
  • 3 years of experience in healthcare security, law enforcement, or safety is required.
  • 1 year demonstrated leadership is required.
  • Valid driver’s license is required.
  • Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certification required within one year.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, security or safety is preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in healthcare security and/or safety is preferred.
  • International Association for Hospital Security (IAHSS) Certification is preferred.
  • Successfully complete Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) Certification within the first 90 days of employment is preferred, if applicable.
