About The Position

The Senior Account Executive interacts with top-tier current & prospective customers while assisting Account Executives in maintaining & growing relationships through customer contact. A strong emphasis is put on prompt customer service and solicitation of potential customers including restaurants and food service establishments. Profitable customer growth along with retention of high volume and multi-unit accounts in territory to meet or exceed company goals/objectives. Establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers. Enhances sales staff accomplishments and competence by answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring & coaching. Understand product values; evaluate profitability of new and existing customers. Identify market opportunities through prospecting and coordinating activities with Inside Sales department. Develop and implement sales strategies, and follow through to successful contract negotiation; prepare and execute service agreements. Utilize Salesforce to full capacity for in depth customer analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience selling into the restaurant and hospitality industry.
  • Work well with others in a team based environment.
  • Communicates clearly both verbally or in written form; excellent analytical skills.
  • Leadership ability; able to direct personnel.
  • Requires minimum supervision; makes timely, accurate judgments regarding production & process quality.
  • Highly organized; superior time management skills.
