Senior Advisor – DHS / FEMA Support
About The Position
Senior Advisor Offers senior strategic advisory support to NTED leadership on Training Partners Program (TPP) initiatives. Responsibilities include conducting high-level reviews of major all-hazards curricula and training initiatives; providing expert counsel on policy, standards, and program direction; advising on outcomes and implementation of training delivery audits and Review Boards; facilitating senior-level stakeholder engagement; and contributing to long-term strategic planning and continuous improvement of FEMA-sponsored training programs. The Senior Advisor will perform highly complex evaluations and provide strategic guidance on processes and systems for emergency management training support.
Requirements
- Progressively responsible experience in a technical or specialty area, including at least 8 years as an internal or external consultant.
- Demonstrated proficiency in automated word processing, graphics, and desktop publishing systems.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Master Graduate or professional degree from an accredited college or university in a related field; may be substituted for demonstrated expertise and national reputation (e.g., publications, committees).
