About The Position

The Senior Advisor will perform highly complex evaluations and provide strategic guidance on processes and systems for emergency management training support.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of progressively responsible experience in a technical or specialty area, including at least 7 years as an internal or external consultant.
• Demonstrated proficiency in automated word processing, graphics, and desktop publishing systems.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Graduate or professional degree from an accredited college or university in a related field; may be substituted for demonstrated expertise and national reputation (e.g., publications, committees).

• National reputation in scientific or professional fields.
• Experience in high-level government advising.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate complex procedures, processes, techniques, models, and systems.
• Provide guidance and direction to project teams in an advisory capacity.
• Assist in analysis, reports, and presentations.
• Use sophisticated tools for analysis and decision-making.
• Define tasks, ensure technical adequacy, and oversee project success.
