About The Position

Factor_ a brand of HelloFresh is seeking a Senior Analyst, Commercial Insights. In this role you will support the analytic, insights, reporting, and data needs of our organization with exposure to executive leadership and all departments (particularly the Commercial and Product Strategy & Operations teams). Core responsibilities include responsive and proactive data analytics to support strategic initiatives and decision-making (through SQL queries, spreadsheets, and visualizations), the development and automation of analytical tools, professional-grade Tableau dashboarding, and reporting on key business initiatives and metrics. You will solve challenging problems using Customer, Product, Operational, and Financial data to derive actionable insights and communicate them to business leaders in a clear and concise manner. You are comfortable supporting the needs of multiple stakeholders and balancing multiple projects simultaneously. This role will afford you broad exposure to the industry-leading ready-to-eat meal subscription business and the opportunity to directly influence the company’s strategy, decision-making, and performance.

Requirements

  • A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or other relevant areas of study (consideration also given for accredited Data Science, Data Analytics, or similar “Bootcamp” credentials in combination with relevant work experience)
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in an analytics function
  • Advanced working SQL proficiency and experience, knowledge of relational database structures, and query authoring competencies, including use of CTEs and subqueries, and building tables and views
  • Working understanding of statistical methodologies (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression)
  • Data visualization proficiency is required (Tableau experience strongly preferred)
  • Experience using Python (for data transformation, analysis, and automation), n8n, and/or Github preferred
  • Fluent in Google Suite or Microsoft Office (especially Excel) applications

Responsibilities

  • Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and monetization strategies through advanced analytics, enabling quantifiable business outcomes
  • Own the analytic process for distilling high volumes of qualitative feedback on physical product performance and customer experience into key themes and actionable recommendations for Factor’s cross-functional teams
  • Implement AI solutions that increase “speed to insight” while remaining the “human in the loop” for validation and optimization
  • Create and maintain custom Tableau dashboards to support recurring reporting needs
  • Fulfill analytic and insights requests from multiple stakeholders in a timely and responsive manner, ensuring the validation and integrity of the underlying data and tailoring of deliverables and communication to the requesters' needs
  • Democratize data access and automate manual processes in order to increase the speed and quality of decision-making across the organization
