CENTENE MANAGEMENT COMPANY LLC ONLINE AD EMPLOYER: Centene Management Company, LLC POSITION: Senior Application Development Engineers JOB ID No.: 1625479 DUTIES: Lead and contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing and deployment. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and business analysts to gather and refine requirements. Translate business needs into technical specifications and architectural designs. Design and develop scalable, high-performance applications using technologies such as Angular, React, Kendo UI (Telerik Controls), Go, Java, Kafka, MongoDB, and Oracle. Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices, primarily using Go. Develop rich, responsive user interfaces with Kendo UI and modern JavaScript frameworks. Coordinate with QA and UAT teams to ensure thorough testing and validation of applications. Conduct system testing, regression testing, and performance tuning to ensure optimal application performance. Analyze and modernize legacy systems to align with current business requirements and technology standards. Mentor junior developers, providing guidance on best practices, code reviews, and technical problem-solving. Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes. Position reports to Centene headquarters at 7700 Forsyth Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63105 and various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time. Up to 10% domestic travel is required to internal summit meetings that happens in Tampa or St Louis Centene office.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, and Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position, and 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience working on full stack development using modern front-end and back-end technologies including Angular, React, Go, Java, and Kendo UI
• Experience conducting database design and development with both relational and NoSQL databases including Oracle and MongoDB
• Experience designing event-driven architecture and messaging systems, particularly with Apache Kafka
• Experience practicing Agile software development including collaboration with business stakeholders, QA/UAT teams, and mentoring of junior developers
• Experience with cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience utilizing containerization and orchestration tools, including Docker and Kubernetes.
