The Senior Assembly & Test Technician’s primary responsibility will be assembly and testing of our handheld Field Forensics products. Daily tasks will include producing and evaluating our MX908, ProtectIR, ExplorIR, VipIR and ThreatID products, following defined procedures and work instructions. In addition, some documentation, data entry and preparation of test and quality reports will be required. The position will also require some visual inspection and quality assurance sampling measurements. The Senior Assembly & Test Technician will work with the Manufacturing Engineering team to troubleshoot production issues and assist in continuous improvement of assembly and test processes. The ideal candidate is able to demonstrate or produce evidence of having worked on fully integrated opto-mechanical systems. Examples would be mammography machines, FTIR or Mass Spec instrumentation. Evidence of troubleshooting instrumentations is a plus. We strongly value hard work, focus and attention to detail, and we foster an extremely collaborative environment, but also seek candidates able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
