We are seeking a Senior Associate, Tax Technology Analytics & Automation to support the Tax Automation & Technology group. This role is hands‑on and execution‑focused, with primary responsibility for rapidly building, enhancing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and low‑code solutions like Microsoft Fabric, Alteryx, and other automation and AI related tools that support tax and operational reporting needs. Tax experience is a plus, but strong Power BI development capabilities and the ability to deliver high‑quality outputs through collaborating with various stakeholders are the top priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on Power BI development experience preferably at an accounting firm or a professional services firm
• Strong skills in Power BI data modeling, DAX, and dashboard design
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and data analysis
• Experience building solutions in fast‑paced, delivery‑focused environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business users

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in tax, finance, or professional services environments, more specifically Big 4
• Familiarity with Power Platform tools such as Power Automate, SharePoint, and the M365 stack
• Experience working with multiple data sources and data transformation
• Comfort supporting multiple concurrent requests and tight turnaround timelines

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver Power BI dashboards and reports to support tax and operational insights. This is a hands-on role for a tax professional that enjoys doing, building and being in the details and seeing vision come to life
• Rapidly build, iterate, and enhance reporting solutions based on business needs.
• Partner with tax and Tax Operations teams to translate requirements into functional visualizations and other automation solutions including automated workpapers
• Support low‑code application and workflow development using Power Platform and others tools
• Maintain, optimize, and document requirements for tax technology assets to be built based on prioritizations from tax technology group
• Keep track of requirements and enhance asset for tax practice and leadership feedback
• Ensure data accuracy, usability, and consistency across reporting solutions
• Support standards and best practices for reporting and low‑code development
