About The Position

We are looking for a high-impact Senior BDR Manager to lead, scale, and inspire our Business Development Representative team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our outbound pipeline generation engine, coaching a team of BDRs to consistently hit targets, refining our prospecting playbooks, and partnering closely with the broader Marketing organization and Sales to fuel company growth. This is a player-coach role for a proven sales leader who is as passionate about developing people as they are about hitting numbers.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years managing a BDR, SDR, or inside sales team
  • Demonstrated track record of building and scaling high-performing outbound teams
  • Deep expertise in outbound prospecting strategy, sequencing, and pipeline generation
  • Strong analytical mindset — comfortable digging into data to diagnose performance and drive decisions
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and sales engagement tools (Gong, Orum, Salesloft, or equivalent)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong executive presence
  • A genuine passion for coaching, mentorship, and people development

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a high-growth SaaS or technology company
  • Familiarity with account-based selling motions and intent-based prospecting tools (6sense, Starbridge, etc.)
  • Prior experience building BDR programs from the ground up or during a period of significant scale
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 6–12 BDRs across inbound and outbound motions
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and call coaching sessions to accelerate rep performance
  • Build a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement
  • Identify top talent and create clear career development paths to support promotion and retention
  • Own the BDR team's pipeline generation targets and ensure consistent attainment
  • Monitor and analyze key metrics (activity, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, cycle time) and take action on trends
  • Forecast pipeline accurately on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Identify and remove bottlenecks in the prospecting and handoff process
  • Develop, iterate, and enforce outbound prospecting playbooks, sequences, and messaging frameworks
  • Partner with the broader Marketing team to align on ICP, campaigns, intent signals, messaging, and inbound lead routing — ensuring BDR activity is tightly integrated with marketing programs
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to ensure seamless BDR-to-AE handoffs and feedback loops
  • Own BDR tech stack adoption (Salesforce, Salesloft, Orum, Claude or GPT, Highspot, etc.) and ensure best practices are followed
  • Partner with Recruiting to attract and hire top BDR talent
  • Own onboarding and ramp programs to get new hires productive within 60-90 days
  • Design and deliver ongoing training on messaging, objection handling, competitive positioning, and product knowledge
