Senior Cafe Clerk - FT - Days - Retail Cafe @ MV
About The Position
This position is responsible for lead responsibilities in a café setting to provide a memorable service experience to all customers. Responsibilities includes inventory management and purchasing, scheduling of staff, maintaining daily/monthly food safety documentation of temperatures and cleaning procedures, preparing specialty coffee drinks, performing a wide variety of tasks related to the preparation, serving, and storing of food and cleaning of wares, equipment, and work areas in a manner that complies with local, state and federal health regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Two (2) years of senior or lead work experience in a retail food service, coffee cafe or catering environment.
- Must exhibit strong customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail, quality and presentation.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated experience being a lead to daily operations
- Current Food Safety Management certification.
Nice To Haves
- Barista experience preferred.
- Point of Sale (POS) cashiering experience preferred.
