About The Position

If you’re an experienced Commercial Credit Analyst interested in working for a local, community bank, then this is the position for you! Working within the Loan & Operations Center located at 75 Post Office Park, Wilbraham, MA, the Full-time Senior Commercial Credit Analyst underwrites commercial loans received by the Bank. Position generally works Mon-Fri 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Potential for future hybrid remote work option. Some of the position responsibilities include: Prepares clear, objective, written analyses of the Bank’s commercial and real estate loans to be used by lending officers and senior management in the loan decision process. Analyzes financial statements and cash flows to determine profitability, capital adequacy, liquidity, asset quality, and the ability to repay existing and proposed obligations. Maintains a high level of knowledge of underwriting for all types of commercial loans and may underwrite more complex deals. Assists with the creation of cash flow models used to assess financial soundness, including appropriate debt covenant levels, debt service and repayment capabilities. Qualifications/Skills : Preferred applicants have extensive knowledge of credit administration, risk analysis and accounting, economic and finance principles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated technical report writing skills. Education/Experience : Bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years of related experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
