About The Position

Riverside Research is an independent National Security Nonprofit dedicated to research and development in the national interest. We provide high-end technical services, research and development, and prototype solutions to some of the country’s most challenging technical problems. All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship. Position Overview Riverside Research is seeking a part-time Contracts Specialist for our Beavercreek, Ohio Office. He/She will be responsible for cradle-to-grave experience with Federal Contracts, Grants, Commercial Products, Subcontracts and Procurement related activities. The ideal candidate should have proposal cost volume and day-to-day experience in the full range of contracts and require independent judgment and identification, analysis and resolution of significant issues. He/She should have knowledge of the ever changing and developing Government Contracting environment.

Requirements

  • Strong Integrity, Ethics
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly recognize risk elements in business transactions
  • Strong interpersonal/communication/written skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or experience in lieu of degree
  • 8 years of progressive experience in contracts administration
  • Knowledge of and experience with FAR, DFARS, other agency supplements, Commercial Products and applicable U.S. laws and regulations
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Products
  • Experience in Deltek/Costpoint for Contracts, Procurement and reporting

Nice To Haves

  • MBA a plus
  • No clearance required but prefer TS/SCI Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Contract/Procurement Management Experience in all areas and phases of Government Contracts; Teaming and Non-Disclosure Agreements, Proposal Preparation, Cost Volumes, Pricing, Negotiations with Customers and Close-outs
  • An Understanding of FAR, DFARs and CMMC requirements
  • Experience with Commercial Products and Reseller agreements, to include FAR Part 12
  • Proven skills in risk identification and mitigation
  • Strong understanding of DCMA compliance requirements
  • Ability to work with Business/Program Manager Partners
