Job Description and Responsibilities: The Advisor role is a key role in our client support cycle. The role will directly manage and service a portfolio of HR client accounts. This role will report to our NA HR Executive Advisory Practice Leader. Requirements

  • 10+ years consulting / advisory experience in HR, shared services, or technology-centric consultancy (Big 4 or comparable experience is a plus)
  • Capability to develop new frameworks and models across a broad array of HR, shared services, and digital topics
  • Experience covering HR subject-matter expertise in a majority of the following areas with deeper knowledge within at least three areas: HR Functional Strategy, Trends and Transformation HR Operating and Service deliver (outsourcing) model Talent Management strategies and programs HR Shared Services Digital HR (Automation, self-service) HR Analytics (core capability, MDM,) HR Technology and capabilities HR Operational Processes (Hire-to-Retire, Payroll) HR Governance Functions and constructs (Leadership, PMO, Steering Committees, Agile teams, etc) Organization Design & Governance HR metric types and scorecards
  • Proven track record of delivering professional services to Fortune 500 clients
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills; ability to draw insight from analysis of data
  • Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks at one time
  • Ability to react quickly to client questions
  • Ability to effectively operate independently and in a team environment
  • Capable of developing creative solutions and value propositions
  • In addition to the qualifications listed above, the Hackett Group and the Executive Advisory Practice place a high emphasis on relevant personal qualities such as creativity, resourcefulness, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Nice To Haves

  • Base knowledge of ERP software (cloud) and other software and digital products is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Advising Clients: Serves a portfolio of our key client accounts across the HR practice. This includes direct client delivery of inquiries, consultations, and briefings, coaching and advising senior leaders, as well as ownership of overall engagement plans
  • Renewals Achievement: Team with the assigned Account Manager to drive value for clients, resulting in higher percentage renewals
  • Intellectual Property (IP) Development - Contribute to overall Intellectual Property, by leading the development of direct contributions (e.g., webinars, blogs, research papers, spotlight reports) and infusing their subject matter expertise
  • Other Contributions: Other periodic roles that may arise based on interest and capacity; including special projects, sales assistance, and broader firm engagement
