AT&T has an opening for a Senior Engineering Support, Wireless Operations position to support the Federal Government in providing O&M / PM support of contracted operations. Job responsibilities include but may not be limited to: Provide technical leadership and serve as the subject matter expert in the field of wireless engineering Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities across wireless engineering activities within scope of these areas of duty Review and provide engineering concurrence wireless architectures designs Coordinate the installation of Government contract voice/data/wireless to include associated equipment. Network support services, provide senior technical expertise and guidance and provide engineering concurrence for architecture designs, testing and development of wireless hardware and software, including SELC support. Documentation creation, training, wireless site surveys, evaluation, project support and decommissioning all to meet the operation requirements with detailed documentation complaint with agency standards. The scope of work includes on-site and remote support for all installations for a Federal Government agency. Provide senior engineering support to plan, design, implementation, and post-deployment activities related to the network. Develop and maintain standard operation procedures (SOPs) and training materials for systems with clear and concise documentation to align with agency standards. Provide Advanced Tier III support and collaborate with internal teams, vendors, to address complex issues to resolve system challenges. Conduct site surveys and perform predictive design and modeling to optimize network. Track and report project progress, risk, and issues to the team and agency stakeholders. Provide senior leadership support to other members of the team. Out of hours support is a requirement, occasional travel may be required, or other duties as assigned. This position supports Government Customer facility in Winchester, VA and other remote sites. Employee must be willing and able to obtain a government issued Public Trust.
