About The Position

Senior Manager, Government Pre-Sales Engineering Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid) Role Summary Exiger helps the U.S. government make better decisions in environments where data is fragmented, risk is hidden, and the cost of getting it wrong is high. Our Government business continues to grow rapidly as agencies turn to Exiger to bring clarity, trust, and defensibility to supply chain, third-party, and software risk decisions. We are hiring a Senior Manager, Government Pre-Sales Engineering to lead the technical pre-sales strategy that underpins this growth. This role sits at the intersection of government mission needs, complex data and integration requirements, and enterprise buying processes. Reporting into senior sales leadership, you will be responsible for how Exiger translates its platform, data, and AI capabilities into credible, compliant, and compelling solutions for Federal Civilian, Defense, Intelligence Community, and Aerospace and Defense customers in the United States. This role is accountable for how Exiger shows up technically to serve the public sector, from first engagement through deal close, in some of the most complex and consequential buying environments we operate in. In this leadership position you will own and operate a high-impact Government Solutions Engineering function that drives technical credibility, solution differentiation, and deal success across complex government programs. The role blends senior people leadership, deal-level ownership, and hands-on execution. You will lead marquee pursuits today while continuously strengthening how Government Solutions Engineering operates at scale, sharpening priorities, playbooks, solution patterns, and standards that matter. Success requires sound judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to move quickly while bringing sales, product, engineering, and customer partners with you.

  • Experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder, and RFP-driven sales cycles, including customized demos, proof-of-concepts, and technical evaluations
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, mission-oriented value propositions for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Familiarity with supply chain risk management (SCRM), third-party risk, cybersecurity risk frameworks, and government data-sharing requirements
  • Strong judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to lead through influence across cross-functional teams
