About The Position

We’re looking for an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to partner with regional leadership to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations while supporting operational productivity and profitability across assigned locations. This role leads EHS programs, drives a strong safety culture, supports acquisition integrations, and ensures consistent compliance with OSHA, DOT, and EPA requirements.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in OSHA, DOT, and EPA regulatory compliance (or equivalent education and experience)
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to interpret regulations, write reports, and present information to leadership and stakeholders
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to work occasional weekends or holidays as business needs required

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience managing or leading teams preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain corporate Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and programs
  • Create and manage internal audit protocols and conduct site audits to identify safety, security, and regulatory gaps
  • Lead EHS onboarding and integration support for acquisitions
  • Oversee third-party qualifiers and establish workflows to ensure compliance
  • Manage offsite incidents, including reporting, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and insurance coordination
  • Establish and implement offsite safety requirements across the organization
  • Partner with facility leaders to build a proactive safety culture
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, FMCSA, and related agencies
  • Support and help drive the company’s Driver Performance Program
  • Oversee DISA drug testing and FMCSA Clearinghouse compliance
  • Collaborate with environmental consultants to maintain compliance and manage budgets
  • Conduct required safety meetings and act as a safety resource for regional teams
  • Advise the Safety Director on compliance gaps, training needs, and risk areas
  • Maintain confidentiality of safety and personnel records
  • Support corporate initiatives, programs, and organizational goals
  • May lead or manage associates
