JOHNSON & JOHNSON Medtech – Neurovascular division offers a broad portfolio of devices used in the endovascular treatment of hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke. What are we looking for? The Senior Financial Analyst will be providing financial leadership by partnering with the R&D organization (i.e. Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, and Bio Data Statistical Management) to influence and drive key business decisions for New Product Innovation. As the go-to finance contact for leadership and their teams, you will play a key role in driving portfolio decisions, managing investments, and leading ad hoc analyses. In addition, you will be driving worldwide sales reporting and analytics by partnering with the worldwide regional contacts.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ progressive accounting experience or related business experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.
  • The ability to think strategically and creatively and work in a team environment is required.
  • Must have strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills.
  • This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical and modeling skills and intellectual curiosity.
  • This position is located in Irvine, CA and may require up to 5% of domestic travel.

  • CPA, CMA, and/or MBA are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with cross-functional partners to build and maintain comprehensive NPV modeling for current and potential R&D projects
  • Informing resource allocation decisions to maximize the short- and long-term portfolio value
  • Managing all aspects of the functional budgets of Clinical, Medical Affairs, and BDSM functions through budget cycles and quarterly close processes
  • Supporting ongoing cost improvement processes and partner with R&D and Supply Chain counterparts to positively impact profitability
  • Collaborate with regions to enhance worldwide sales reporting and analytics.
  • Providing financial guidance and support through ad hoc exercises
