About The Position

Sensorex is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst who will report to the CFO and serve as a key business partner across the organization. The Senior FP&A Analyst will play a key role in strengthening our financial planning, forecasting, and decision-support capabilities. This role is critical to helping Sensorex translate financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights that support profitable growth, pricing decisions, and strategic investments. As a senior individual contributor, you will act as a finance business partner to commercial and operational leaders—owning analysis across pricing, sales performance, business cases, and operational outputs. You’ll help elevate how financial data is used across the organization while building scalable, reliable reporting and forecasting processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • 3–5+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or a closely related analytical finance role
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex models and data analysis
  • Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Experience working with ERP systems and large datasets
  • Ability to translate financial analysis into clear business insights
  • Manufacturing or industrial products experience (costing, margins, inventory, absorption, efficiency)
  • Experience owning or supporting pricing processes
  • Experience with building dashboards using Power BI or similar data visualization tools
  • SQL or data query experience
  • Familiarity with using AI tools to streamline workflows, analysis and reporting
  • Experience improving or maintaining financial reporting systems over time (not just one-off analysis)
  • Exposure to ERP implementations or finance transformation initiatives

Nice To Haves

  • Strong business partnership mindset with the ability to influence without authority
  • High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Embraces ambiguity - knows when to apply sound judgement and when to change approach
  • Clear, confident communicator able to present to non-finance stakeholders
  • Proactive problem solver who enjoys improving processes and ways of working
  • Ability to balance recurring deadlines with ad hoc strategic analysis

Responsibilities

  • Be a true commercial finance partner, shaping pricing decisions, sales strategy, margin performance, cost optimization, and investment business cases that directly influence how the business grows
  • Own the annual pricing cycle end‑to-end, driving analysis, recommendations, and execution, while leading off‑cycle pricing actions as market conditions evolve
  • Build decision‑grade financial models that evaluate project business cases, growth opportunities, cost efficiencies and labor productivity, turning complexity into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Partner closely with Accounting at month-end to gather and organize performance data, analyze account movements, refresh key calculations and support production of the management pack
  • Tell the performance story by delivering insightful monthly reporting, variance analysis, and executive‑ready commentary that helps leaders understand what’s happening and what to do next
  • Modernize and elevate reporting by developing automated, scalable dashboards and tools (Excel, Power BI), eliminating “stale” reporting and creating trusted, sustainable insights
  • Lead planning for the future, including budgets, forecasts, and long‑range plans, with clear assumptions, scenarios, and sensitivity analyses that support confident decision‑making
  • Drive continuous improvement across finance systems and processes, supporting ERP enhancements, better data flows, and smarter ways of working

Benefits

  • Competitive benefits package includes medical, dental, life, disability and 401(K)
