Senior Fulfillment Manager / Superintendent Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes is seeking a highly motivated, forward thinking Senior Fulfillment Manager / Superintendent (Level M) to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina. You will lead managers and develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and 787 program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety. This is a first shift position but the selected candidate must be willing to spend time in second and third shifts. Position Responsibilities: Manages and integrates employee and mid-level manager activities across more than one area in Fulfillment and Supply Chain Develops and executes integrated organizational strategies, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, objectives Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical and operational management of suppliers and leads process improvements Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports through Seek, Speak, and Listen Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes to drive First Pass Quality/Safety of Product and People Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers for individual and team development Assists with driving Boeing's Production System (BPS) transformation Exhibits Boeing Behaviors and Values Possesses & influences a mindset of People First, Safety, Quality & Excellence Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 10+ years of experience with one or more of the following within the Manufacturing Operations function (Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Operations, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality or IT) 10+ years of experience with team building, developing and motivating employees 10+ years of experience leading or managing cross-functional teams Willingness and ability to support all shifts as needed Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree (or higher) 5+ years of experience using lean principles 10+ years of experience in Inventory Management / Inventory Management Methodologies 10+ years of experience with Boeing Problem Solving Methodologies (or similar industry best practices) 10+ years of experience with Boeing (or similar industry) systems leveraged by Supply Chain Fulfillment organizations (ARES, ERPLN, KITs) Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
