About The Position

Sierra Lobo, offers customers a full range of professional and technical capabilities, including Test and Evaluation, Systems Engineering, and Advanced Technologies. We also develop products and processes related to Cryogenic Fluid and Thermal Management Systems, Densified Propellant Management Systems, and Prototype Extreme Pressure and Temperature Systems. Our customers include the Department of Defense (DoD), the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). This position is located in Milan, Ohio. FUNCTION OF POSITION The Senior Generalist will assist in the planning, execution and overseeing of Human Resources initiatives. This includes new system implementations or policy changes, ensuring they algin with business goals, stay on budget, and meet deadlines, involving stakeholder communication, risk management, resource coordination and tracking progress from start to finish for strategic HR improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent work experience, required
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to travel as necessary (Less than 10%)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with labor laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Assist in defining project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Lead project teams, coordinate resources, track progress and ensure quality delivery
  • Provide regular status updates
  • Assist in tandardizing and strengthening HR practices
  • Assist in implement of new systems including but not limited to HRIS
  • Assist with large scale hiring events
