We take care of our people so that you can do your best work. Senior Leave Analyst We are currently seeking a Senior Leave Analyst to join our team. This position is responsible for exemplifying advanced leadership skills, technical experience, and high-quality service levels in all aspects of leave administration. Additionally, this position provides insightful instruction regarding federal, state, and local leave laws, as well as fosters strong relationships with all internal and external customers, management and business stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.
  • Four or more years of experience in leave administration for a nationwide company is preferred.
  • Maintains general knowledge of federal, state, and local leave administration laws

Nice To Haves

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Benefits certification training is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Motivates the team to deliver high-quality level of care throughout the leave process.
  • Manages complex reports and audits that directly deal with process adherence.
  • Partners with Leave Administration group leadership regarding quality control, timeliness, and the team’s overall productivity.
  • Identifies and alerts Leave Administration group leadership of trends and training opportunities and suggests enhancements to streamline all deliverables.
  • Leads enterprise level projects ensuring that systems are performing as required or identifying and setting up manual processes to ensure compliance with plan administrative requirements including downstream transactions, systems, and processes.
  • Provides analytical and consultative support on data and metrics to evaluate performance and identify trends.
  • Uses the data to make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Resolves escalations efficiently to preserve high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Counsels team members and all customers as an objective and robust knowledge source to ensure the consistent application of leave regulations and Insperity policies and procedures.
  • Serves as a back up to supervisor or manager to address and preserve high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Cultivates positive relationships with all internal and external customers, while adhering to federal and/or state mandated leave laws, Company policy and insurance plans.
  • Evaluates leave requests and recommends expert advice to employees, Insperity client companies and internal customers.
  • Oversees and effectively executes all leave requests for Insperity corporate employees.
  • Stays current on FMLA, state leave and income replacement laws, as well as corporate leave and income replacement policies.
  • Maintains general knowledge of federal, state, and local leave administration laws
  • Performs and executes system generated assignments related to leave administration.
  • Organizes and leads leave-related presentations and conference calls with internal and external partners as needed.
  • Maintains and presents team productivity reports to Leave Administration group leadership on a regular and ongoing basis.
  • Monitors technical training and ensures staff are sufficiently skilled to provide excellent customer service.
  • Identifies training needs to ensure team knowledge of all leave of absence programs at the highest level within the company.
  • Reviews, approves, and ensures team is trained on changes in procedures that improve the quality, efficiency, and customer experience in the delivery and administration of leave programs.
  • Generates ad hoc reports as requested by internal and external partners.
  • Works as a team member to maintain the highest level of customer service quality and productivity.
