About The Position

Our Global Internal Communications team is focused on informing, engaging and motivating our employees through effective communications experiences that help shape Akamai's strategic vision and mission critical goals. The team works cross-functionally with various organizations to build, support and execute internal communications plans and employee engagement initiatives. You will help shape and nurture our employees' experiences by creating and executing communications strategies. Advising on various corporate communications efforts and ensuring alignment on a wide range of internal projects.

Requirements

Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
Have demonstrated success with internal communications, employee engagement, human resources, and/or change management
Show the ability to simultaneously manage projects, coordinate resources, and execute multiple initiatives within tight timelines
Have experience developing and producing original, creative, and compelling communications
Have the propensity to take initiative and the confidence to bring ideas forward and stretch existing processes
Have experience building effective networks across teams and international regions, as well as demonstrate global acumen

Responsibilities

Partnering with HR and global communications stakeholders to create, execute and lead internal HR communications strategy
Creating various types of content for the HR organization
Managing internal communications channels for the entire HR organization
Participating in our Global Internal Communications teams initiatives and strategy planning
