As part of Risk Products & Data Strategy (RPDS) team, the Manager/ Senior Manager Product Management/Development will be driving the roadmap for modernizing risk data products and capabilities such as Consumer/Corporate Limits involved in Risk Authorization and Underwriting Decisions. Modernizing the Data Products and Capabilities is a key strategic imperative to enable rapid innovation and drive business growth. We are looking for an individual who will drive product management and product development of risk products and capabilities The successful individual ensures that his/her software product meets the evolving needs of Risk Management through continual innovation, evaluation, and deployment. Requires strong organizational, business functional, technical, and creative problem-solving skills. Must work well in a dynamic, complex environment and under deadline pressures. Incumbent would directly manage a scrum team or a set of scrum teams, groom user stories, ensure global product design, meet required performance, availability and automation needs across markets and products. Incumbent would also work with Risk Strategy, Solution Management team and Data Stewards to ensure correct requirements and solution design for creating robust risk data capabilities. The Senior Manager will report and assist the Director, Product Development.

Requirements

5+ Years of experience in leading robust agile teams in launching software products working across a mix of consumer, enterprise, and internal tools.
A good balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with a proven track record of driving digital innovation and business metrics with a customer-first mindset.
Loves dealing with a fast-paced environment with the changing needs, and finite resources.
The ability to set a high bar for himself/team and empower them to achieve great results.
A “driver” personality - constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery while balancing the need for great collaboration.
User-centricity - examples from your past of product challenges that you powered through because you were unwilling to make your problems your users’ problems.
Understanding of the evolving highly driven business environment and how to build a flexible and scalable platform that meets regulatory and security requirements.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence and encourage partners to drive collaboration and alignment.
High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability.
An ability to solve sophisticated problems and a highly analytical approach.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/technology/engineering/business management or related field is mandatory.

Nice To Haves

Master’s Degree (or comparable experience) in management, computer science, engineering or a related discipline is ideal.

Responsibilities

Articulate a long-term software product vision, strategy, and goals to a product roadmap with clearly defined business metrics and outcomes.
Translate the roadmap in the well-defined product backlog which includes creating and reviewing Initiatives, Capabilities, Features and User Stories with Acceptance Criteria.
Define Data Product and Capabilities requirements in partnership with key stakeholders demonstrating high level of thought leadership and inclusive leadership.
Communicate and build consensus across multiple stakeholders in crafting the software product roadmap.
Define product & business process modernization requirements based on current state and future needs. Ensure current needs are being met while the future is being defined.
Lead a team of product owners to drive platform design, capability development and data enablement work.
Manage the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution via scrum teams.
Understand competitive best practices, external trends and integrate them into software product strategies.
Work closely with the technology team to develop the outstanding architecture that delivers high availability (100%25), millisecond performance, and high-quality software on a modern stack using high compute, in-memory databases, scalable on internal/external cloud.
Identify and prioritize the list of product health, governance, and optimization opportunities and recommendations.
Ensure that best in class agile software development processes is in place.
Enable data and analytics-driven decision making to evolve products and usage.
Provide strong leadership to address complex business problems in unknown/ambiguous situation.
