About the Team The Enterprise Business Operations team acts as the connective tissue linking all functions to work towards a shared set of priorities. We own the cycle of planning, executing, and analyzing company progress, translating high-level strategy into tangible actions and measurable results. We are building this capability in a dynamic environment and to support Workday as a newly minted S&P 500 company for its next phase of growth. About the Role As the Senior Manager, Enterprise Performance, you will play a pivotal role in driving accountability on company performance and ensuring successful delivery of Workday’s strategic growth objectives. You will drive executive decision-making through actionable insights and make a direct impact on Workday’s growth and performance.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in a strategic or operational performance role
  • 6+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, business operations, or product operations roles.
  • 6+ years of experience in quantitative analysis with knowledge of independently structured analysis, validating data sources, and identifying trends in business performance.
  • Process and detail oriented in the pursuit of operational excellence.
  • Extensive experience managing recurring business cycles (planning, reporting, OKRs) and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Skilled at building strong relationships with stakeholders and influencing peers to drive accountability without direct authority.
  • Skilled at synthesizing inputs from various teams that can be translated into cohesive reports.
  • Highly proficient with data & analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Executive Dashboards)
  • Ability to apply AI and automation to scale business operations.
  • Open to 50% office reporting in our Pleasanton CA campus.

Responsibilities

  • Performance Deep-Dives : Lead analytical investigations into key business areas to diagnose root causes of performance gaps and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Enterprise Performance Cycles : Manage the delivery of key performance assets, including the Quarterly and Monthly Performance Updates, with functional leaders and data & analytics teams.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making : Collaborate with the data team to maintain the "Single Source of Truth" (SSOT) for enterprise metrics. Leverage automation and AI tools to enhance how leadership consumes performance data.
  • OKR Inspection : Monitor and inspect the status of company OKRs and operational metrics. Support the OKR setting process to drive operationalization of the company’s strategic priorities.
  • Executive Business Reviews : Prepare compelling analysis and content for Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), helping leadership focus on critical areas requiring attention and corrective action.
