About The Position

We are a high-growth, private-equity–backed SaaS company delivering innovative software solutions. As we scale, we are building a world-class finance function to ensure accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in all accounting processes. The Senior Manager of GL & Corporate Accounting leads the organization’s general ledger operations, monthly/quarterly close processes, and corporate level accounting activities. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards. The Senior Manager partners with cross-functional teams including FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Audit to support strategic financial decision-making. This role will report to Senir Director of Accounting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including GL and corporate accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP or IFRS.
  • Experience managing accounting teams.
  • Experience in a multinational or multi-entity environment.
  • Proficiency with major ERP platforms (Workday, NetSuite, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full GL accounting cycle, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Manage and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial results.
  • Monitor and improve close timelines, ensuring adherence to corporate deadlines.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of consolidation entries and intercompany eliminations.
  • Lead preparation of corporate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS).
  • Own corporate level accounting areas such as fixed assets, leases, prepaid expenses, accruals, bank reconciliation and treasury related entries.
  • Review variance analyses and work with FP&A on understanding key business drivers.
  • Manage compliance with internal accounting policies and maintain documentation.
  • Partner with internal and external auditors by preparing schedules, responding to inquiries, and resolving audit findings.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and control effectiveness.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of 1-2 senior and staff accountants.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and foster a culture of continuous learning and accountability.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, training, and career development for the team.
  • Champion automation and efficiency initiatives in the close and reporting processes.
  • Oversee ERP system enhancements related to GL and corporate accounting functions.
  • Ensure data integrity and work closely with IT on system controls.
