About The Position

Enru Logistics is seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager, Order Entry to lead our order management function through a period of significant transformation. This is a critical role designed to build, stabilize, and scale a new order entry process that is still under development. The ideal candidate is tech-forward, highly analytical, and comfortable working through ambiguity, with strong experience in Microsoft Business Central (BC) and Dynamics, robust data hygiene capabilities, and a proven ability to manage and mentor a small but high-performing team.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in Order Entry, Order Management, or related operations roles.
  • 3+ years managing small to mid-sized teams (2–3 direct reports).
  • Proven expertise with Microsoft Business Central (BC), Microsoft Dynamics 365, Order Entry Implementation, Core Data Cleanup & Hygiene, and High SQL & Excel skills
  • Excellent process and project management abilities; able to drive projects from ambiguous beginnings to structured outcomes.
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly in new systems, workflows, and business models.
  • Comfortable working through complexity, transformation, and incomplete information.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional partners.
  • Experience supporting ERP transformations or major system/process migrations.
  • Familiarity with integrations between BC, Dynamics, CRM systems, and fulfillment tools.
  • Certifications in Lean/Six Sigma, PMP, or similar disciplines.
  • Background in manufacturing, distribution, SaaS, or hardware/software order flows.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of 2–3 direct reports, and up to 8 indirect reports plus Order Entry Specialists and Onboarding Specialists, ensuring clarity, engagement, and operational excellence.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and adaptability.
  • Provide hands-on coaching and act as the escalation point for complex order scenarios.
  • Oversee daily order intake, validation, entry, and release with an emphasis on speed, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Oversee onboarding of new clients/shippers for order intake resulting in a seamless customer experience.
  • Ensure orders meet business rules, contractual terms, configuration standards, and financial requirements.
  • Own the transformation of a new order workflow, improving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Translate business requirements into system and process enhancements in collaboration with IT and cross-functional leaders.
  • Lead or support key projects—including system rollouts, process redesigns, and data improvement initiatives.
  • Develop SOPs, documentation, and training materials for new and updated processes.
  • Act as the functional expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Business Central (BC) within the order management team.
  • Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot order-related workflows in BC/Dynamics.
  • Partner with technical teams on testing, releases, and enhancements (UAT, requirements gathering, validation).
  • Support master data clean-up, governance, and ongoing hygiene, ensuring accurate customer, item, pricing, and configuration data.
  • Track KPIs across order accuracy, turnaround time, backlog management, and data quality; root cause issues impacting performance and advocate solutions
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, Customer Success, and IT to ensure seamless order flow.
