About The Position

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Senior Manager Product Cybersecurity COE. Relocation is offered. The expected annual salary range for this role is $154000 - $225000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you’ll do: The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity provides strategic and people leadership for Eaton’s product cybersecurity capabilities. This role is accountable for advancing Eaton’s Secure by Design strategy by embedding cybersecurity requirements, risk management, and governance across the full product lifecycle. The role partners closely with Global R&D Engineering, Product Management, IT, Legal, and Compliance to enable innovation while protecting Eaton, its customers, and its brand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Cybersecurity from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 10 years of experience leading global teams in a product, hardware, application or software security field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with firmware, software or application development including developing, architecting and implementing software security solutions

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of IEC 62443 and UL2900 standards
  • Knowledge of OWASP and NIST 800 series security framework
  • Cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, GIAC)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a global cybersecurity organization supporting Eaton’s products, platforms, and services
  • Define and execute cybersecurity strategy aligned with Eaton business priorities, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements
  • Embed Secure by Design principles into Eaton engineering and product development processes across the lifecycle
  • Provide cybersecurity leadership and guidance to R&D, engineering, and product teams to proactively identify and mitigate risk
  • Establish and maintain cybersecurity governance, operating models, and metrics to drive consistent execution across regions
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Engineering, IT, Product, Legal, Quality, Compliance)
  • Communicate cybersecurity risk posture to senior leadership
  • Support audits, customer, and regulatory engagements
  • Support the development and delivery of Eaton’s annual cybersecurity perspective, including active participation and representation at industry conferences and cybersecurity-related events.
  • Lead managers and senior cybersecurity or engineering professionals globally.
  • Drive talent development, succession planning, and performance management
  • Support workforce planning and budget management
