About The Position

The Senior Manager, Revenue oversees all aspects of Duck Creek’s global revenue operations, revenue accounting, and accounts receivable activities. Reporting to the Global Controller, this role ensures accurate revenue recognition under ASC 606 and drives process optimization across the quote-to-cash lifecycle. The position leads a global team responsible for billing, collections, and reporting, partnering closely with FP&A, Sales Operations, Customer Success, Legal, and external auditors. This leader strengthens financial integrity, enhances automation and efficiency, and supports scalable growth through disciplined execution and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Masters Degree and/or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
  • 6+ years of accounting experience with 2+ years of public accounting experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in a software revenue operations function or equivalent
  • 3+ years experience managing/supervising junior team members.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, particularly ASC 606
  • Expertise in quote-to-cash processes and internal controls
  • Advanced Excel proficiency and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Legally authorized to work in the country of job location.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a global team across revenue operations and accounts receivable, providing clear direction and coaching
  • Establish goals and performance metrics aligned with business objectives and ensure accountability for results
  • Oversee the complete revenue lifecycle from deal structuring and contract review to recognition and reporting in compliance with ASC 606
  • Review and approve contracts, amendments, and billing schedules for accuracy and consistency
  • Maintain RightRev (and SaaS Master until deprecated) and ensure timely invoicing and reporting of subscription, services, and other revenue stream
  • Partner with FP&A to enhance revenue forecasting and key metrics including ARR, ACV, and DSO
  • Drive process improvement and automation initiatives across CRM, billing, and ERP systems
  • Serve as the primary contact for external auditors on revenue and AR-related matters
  • Oversee billing, collections, and cash application processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Monitor AR aging and manage global cash inflows to optimize working capital
  • Partner with Customer Success and Sales Operations to resolve billing disputes and improve customer experience
  • Implement strong internal controls and automation to enhance accuracy and compliance
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives such as Q2C transformation, system implementations, and new product launch readiness
