About The Position

This role serves as a key finance partner to the Redwood City manufacturing plant, supporting operational decision-making through financial analysis, cost insights, and reporting. The position works closely with plant leadership to support month-end close, inventory management, budgeting, and forecasting while helping drive financial discipline and continuous improvement across plant operations. What you will experience in this position: Assist with preparing financial reports and analyses to support plant initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and variance analysis of plant spend versus budget and forecast. Maintain accurate inventory records through reconciliation and cycle count support. Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process by gathering data and preparing reports. Provide support for audits by organizing documentation and ensuring compliance with company policies. Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for efficiency and learn best practices in a manufacturing finance environment. Will have opportunity to support projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or analyst role, preferably within a manufacturing or operations environment.
  • Strong cost accounting skills, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite, with experience working with large data sets.
  • Demonstrates an explorer mindset and effective problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to develop skills in financial analysis and reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.
