About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for safety and quality minded Senior LSCC, BPS, Compliance Manager (Level L) to lead part of Boeing Commercial Airplane's 737 Field Operations Team in Seattle, Washington. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Seattle, with routine visits to Renton and potential for travel to Moses Lake and Victorville. The 737 Field Operations Team is responsible for preparing the aircraft for its first flight in Renton, through delivery to our customer at the Seattle Delivery Center. The aircraft flow includes Boeing and Customer test flights, extensive Boeing inspections, exterior paint, application for and achieving issuance of Certificate of Airworthiness, customer inspections, and any rework required along the way. The teams work around the clock to support this, including weekends and most holidays. A leader in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety. Having experience as a leader within manufacturing or field operations will provide a strong foundation and ensure an understanding of the work the team this leader supports. This Senior Manager will be responsible for the leading our Line Side Control Centers (LSCC), along with driving our Boeing Production System (BPS), Compliance to our standards, and partnering to achieve staffing and training objectives for the production and maintenance teammates. In addition to maintaining current processes and procedures, the new leader is expected to drive significant change to improve support provide to aircraft maintenance technicians and inspectors.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role leading various teams, initiatives and projects to meet business objectives and influence change
  • 5+ years of experience in lean processes and initiatives
  • 3+ years of experience leading within operations or manufacturing
  • 3+ years of experience in mentoring, coaching, guiding and leading teams
  • Ability to work any shift including weekends, holidays, and overtime

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience in BPS (Boeing Production Systems) and/or QMS (Quality Management Systems)
  • 3+ years of experience in working to lead and develop teams to execute to safety, compliance, quality and cost
