Position Summary: The Senior Marketing Automation Specialist will work with the marketing team and business lines to plan, execute and measure marketing campaigns. The Senior Marketing Automation Specialist will support the VP, Marketing Operations Manager in the ongoing management of the Marketo Automation Platform while supporting campaign execution. This role will serve as technical support for all Marketo campaign issues while building a technical knowledge base to support marketing automation activities. This role will also work with brand and shared services teams to build and implement necessary campaign deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years’ experience developing and managing marketing automation campaigns via Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing and social media landscape as well as marketing automation best practices
  • Strategic Knowledge and Professional Abilities
  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewalls (functionality and maintenance), and Javascript
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Familiarity with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and the ability to make recommendations for appropriate updates to email and web content.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe environment.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ experience in a banking/financial services/commercial finance environment preferred or equivalent experience in similar environment
  • Advertising or digital ad agency experience a plus
  • Marketo certified expert preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work with brand and shared services teams to build and implement necessary campaign deliverables such as email design, graphics, applicable tracking links, etc.
  • Uses advanced Marketo knowledge to work with digital marketing manager to develop comprehensive marketing automation campaigns that support brand goals for the year.
  • Manage relationships and regularly interface with Marketo customer support and Marketo implementation partner.
  • Work with brand lines and stakeholders to define KPIs while working with Marketing Operations manager to build campaign reporting.
  • Plan and perform A/B testing to define and execute enhancements to productivity, conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI and sales growth.
  • Manages brand assets in Marketo with consistent taxonomy while working with creative team to archive campaign assets in the digital asset management platform.
  • Stays aware of new Marketo updates, trends in marketing automation and best practices while educating the marketing team.
  • Applies advanced knowledge of Marketo to strategic decision making and campaign direction.
  • Work with VP, Marketing Operations Manager to build alignment with Executive team, Business Partners, Shared Services, IT, and Operational Support including the CX and Salesforce teams.
  • Understand marketing OKR’s to effectively manage incoming project queue, requested deliverables, and tasks.
  • Work with the marketing organization at large to define and manage team processes, hand-off points, document workflows, and set agreed upon service level agreements.
  • Work with brand and compliance teams to adhere to compliance and regulatory standards and make applicable changes to assets when necessary.
