About The Position

As a Senior Mechanical Stress Analysis Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a key role within the Turbomachinery and Heat Exchanger Analysis group in our Additive Analysis Mechanical and Design (AAMD) directorate. You will be responsible for the development and analysis of Environmental Control System (ECS) turbomachinery, heat exchangers, and electric traction drive motors. In this role, you will lead and perform stress, vibration, and heat transfer analyses, applying advanced engineering principles to ensure our products meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and compliance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise, design validation, and analytical support across a variety of projects and programs. This position will also involve technical mentorship, process improvement initiatives, and presentations to internal and external customers. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Torrance, CA location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the design and validation of high-performance turbomachinery and thermal systems, contributing to Honeywell’s mission of creating innovative, energy-efficient solutions for aerospace applications.
