About The Position

We’re a fast-growing, profitable tech company transforming how insurance claims are inspected and resolved. In an industry not exactly known for cutting-edge technology, we’re pushing boundaries, building solutions once thought impossible, and shaping the future of how insurers serve homeowners. We’re creating the next generation of on-site inspection capture, powering a national workforce that relies on our mobile app to collect accurate, high-quality data in the field. This is software used at real job sites, every single day, often in challenging network conditions. As a Senior React Native Mobile Engineer at Seek Now, you’ll play a critical role in designing and developing the mobile experiences that power our business. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead major initiatives, build new capabilities, and raise the bar on reliability, performance, and quality across iOS and Android. What success looks like (first 90 days) Deliver one meaningful feature or platform improvement end-to-end (design, build, release, iterate). Improve reliability in field workflows (offline-first capture, sync behavior, error recovery). Identify and address top crashes, performance, or usability issues with measurable impact. Strengthen engineering quality through testing, instrumentation, and release hygiene. Establish strong operating rhythm with Product, Design, Backend, and field stakeholders.

Requirements

• Mobile engineering experience : Proven experience building and maintaining production mobile apps; experience supporting apps used in real-world, high-variability environments is a plus.
• React Native expertise: Strong experience with React Native, React, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript patterns.
• App architecture: Comfort designing modular, maintainable app architectures (navigation, state management, offline patterns, performance).
• API integration: Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and working closely with backend teams to shape mobile-friendly endpoints.
• Problem-solver: Strong critical thinking, ownership mindset, and the drive to tackle complex challenges.
• Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice To Haves

• Native and platform depth Native mobile experience (Swift/Objective-C or Kotlin/Java)
• DevEx , quality, and release Mobile CI/CD and release workflows
• Capture tech, AR/3D, and on-device intelligence Augmented reality frameworks (ARKit / ARCore) for property scanning and spatial capture
• Integrating user experiences with on-device AI models
• 3D rendering experience (SceneKit, RealityKit, Three.js, Unity, or similar)

Responsibilities

• Build and Innovate: Develop new features for our mobile applications while helping architect new mobile product initiatives.
• Lead major initiatives: Own technical design, tradeoffs, and delivery for key areas of the app from discovery through rollout.
• Field-first reliability : Improve offline-first capture, background sync, and data integrity in low-connectivity environments.
• Evolve our architecture: Design, implement, and maintain a scalable React Native codebase (navigation, state management, modularity, offline patterns, performance).
• Ship with quality : Leverage modern mobile testing practices, instrumentation, and CI/CD to improve reliability and accelerate delivery.
• Collaborate and Mentor: Work on a small, high-performing team, contribute to code reviews, pair with teammates, and support junior developers in growing their craft.
