About The Position

The Sr. Planning Manager is responsible for synchronizing supply chain strategies with factory operations to meet customer demand. This role acts as a critical bridge between Sales, Finance, and the "Fab" to ensure manufacturing assets are utilized efficiently while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Requirements

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required
  • Experience: 5+ years in semiconductor manufacturing or supply chain management.
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of foundry ecosystems, development flows, and wafer fab processes

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning department: Manage end-to-end planning activities such as forecasting, production scheduling, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Production Scheduling: Develop and own end-to-end production plans, from order through wafer fabrication.
  • Demand & Supply Alignment: Align Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP/S&OP) forums to provide capacity scenarios and production plans that align with market forecasts.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and control work-in-progress (WIP) flow and finished goods inventory to prevent both stockouts and overstocking.
  • Capacity Optimization: Collaborate with operations teams to identify bottleneck tool utilization and plan for short-term and long-term capacity requirements.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify potential supply gaps or production delays and report status, shortages, and risks to executive leadership.
  • Systems Management: Optimize ERP/MRP systems (like SAP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to ensure data integrity and automated reporting
