About The Position

Onset Technologies is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to support the State Health Analytics Reporting Platform (SHARP). The contractor will create dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau based on business requirements, ensuring alignment with program needs. This role involves collaborating with program staff, translating requirements into actionable reports, testing dashboards, and supporting publishing and promotion of reporting solutions. Experience with Informatica ETL tools is strongly preferred.

Requirements

• 8+ years creating reports or performing data analysis using Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Cognos, Business Objects, QlikView, or similar tools.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Must be local to Austin.

Nice To Haves

• 4+ years working with large-scale datasets in Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Snowflake, or similar.
• 2+ years working with Informatica ETL tools.
• 2+ years creating dashboards and reports in Tableau.
• 2+ years creating dashboards and reports in Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI and Tableau dashboards and reports to meet program requirements.
• Translate business requirements into actionable reporting solutions.
• Collaborate with program staff to ensure reports meet customer needs.
• Participate in testing reports and dashboards to ensure proper functionality.
• Work with colleagues to publish and promote reports effectively.
• Support ETL processes, preferably using Informatica tools, to ensure data availability and accuracy.
