About The Position

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and sales enablement across Beacon's portfolio of vertical software companies. This is a highly strategic role that requires experience in product marketing, a strong understanding of the B2B SaaS landscape, and a proven ability to drive revenue through compelling positioning, messaging, and execution. As a key member of the Marketing team, you will own the development and execution of marketing strategies that resonate with target customers across diverse verticals—from youth sports organizations to recreation facilities to professional services firms. You'll partner closely with portfolio company leadership, sales teams, and Beacon's central product organization to drive adoption, market expansion, and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, with exposure to multiple industries or product lines
  • Proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive measurable business impact
  • Strong understanding of vertical market software, SMB/mid-market sales cycles, and customer success motions
  • Experience working closely with sales, customer success, and product teams to drive revenue and adoption
  • Expertise in market research, competitive analysis, and translating insights into actionable strategies
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting compelling narratives for sales, customer, and executive audiences
  • Analytical mindset with ability to use data to inform strategy and measure impact
  • Comfortable working across multiple products and brands simultaneously

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in vertical software is a plus (ie. edtech, fintech, govtech, etc.)
  • Background working with private equity portfolio companies or multi-brand environments
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, and marketing automation platforms
  • Experience marketing AI-powered features or technology-forward products

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Positioning & Messaging: Define core messaging frameworks and positioning for portfolio company products, ensuring differentiation in competitive markets
  • Go-To-Market Leadership: Own and drive GTM strategies for product launches and feature releases, ensuring alignment across product, sales, and marketing teams
  • Market & Competitive Intelligence: Lead deep market research and customer insights initiatives to understand key trends, competitive threats, and opportunities across our verticals
  • Sales & Customer Enablement: Develop sales enablement strategies, including training materials, pitch decks, battle cards, and content that empowers sales teams to win
  • Thought Leadership & Content Strategy: Establish portfolio companies as category leaders through compelling thought leadership, content marketing, and demand-generation programs
  • Lifecycle Marketing: Support adoption across the customer lifecycle through email-based onboarding programs, customer enablement programs, and product education
  • Pricing and Packaging: Support pricing strategy, identify opportunities for organic growth with improved packaging, and help sales teams understand competitive positioning
  • Customer & Community Engagement: Work closely with customers to gather insights, develop case studies, and enhance customer marketing efforts
  • Performance Metrics & Optimization: Define key success metrics, analyze performance data, and refine marketing strategies based on insights
