About The Position

Inside the Role When you join Daimler Truck North America, you become an agent of change within a global organization committed to shaping the future of transportation. Through innovation at every level, our teams deliver cleaner, safer, and more efficient mobility solutions for today and tomorrow. The Autonomous Technology Group (ATG) leads Daimler Truck’s development and industrialization of autonomous vehicle platforms and systems. ATG operates at the intersection of advanced engineering, manufacturing readiness, external technology partnerships, and evolving business strategies. You will shape the evolution of development processes for innovative technologies, while developing strong cross-functional relationships throughout Daimler Truck and enhancing your professional network and influence within the organization. The Senior Project Manager in ATG is accountable for driving complex autonomous vehicle programs through the CVDS (Commercial Vehicle Development System) from early definition through industrialization readiness. This role owns end-to-end project planning, execution, and cross-functional alignment, ensuring delivery of scope, quality, timing, and cost targets. This position serves as the single-threaded project leader coordinating all internal cross-functional groups (Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Aftermarket, etc.) and our external autonomy partners. This role brings clarity, accountability, and structure to highly dynamic programs, while ensuring that standard processes are applied rigorously, and adapted where appropriate, to meet the needs of emerging technology development.
