About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Senior Quality Manager to join our team based in North Charleston, SC on 2nd shift. The Senior Quality Manager for BSC Mid Body will be leading the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance to our Quality Management System. This position requires strong leadership and people skills, ability to problem solve and be proactive to identify solution and to develop and communicate corrective actions plans.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Quality, or experience in a regulated industry.
  • 3+ years of experience in leading teams (This includes managing team assignments, tracking status and developing a team’s talent.)
  • 3+ years of experience with organizational and team building skills performed in a cross-functional environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance role.

Responsibilities

  • Manages employees and first-level managers performing management activities across multiple (2 or more) Quality Management Job Families.
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.
  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers
