The team designs scalable systems integrating regulatory data sources like WERCS to enhance compliance intelligence. Their work supports safe storage, transportation, and disposal of hazardous materials. Focused on delivering reliable, maintainable software, the team applies strong technical skills including platform design, iterative development, and AI integration. Collaboration and continuous improvement drive their approach, ensuring solutions align with broader platform goals while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and documentation-based coding practices.
• Strong experience delivering scoped features or models through collaborative engineering teams.
• Proficiency in software development lifecycle, including CI/CD, automated testing, and debugging.
• Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable software systems aligned with platform standards.
• Skilled in integrating AI/ML components and leveraging generative AI tools to enhance development.
• Demonstrated technical judgment with sound decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Commitment to continuous learning, mentorship, and driving engineering excellence.
• Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
• Option 2: 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Responsibilities

• Own scoped feature and model delivery through collaborative engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
• Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Integrate AI and ML components to enhance software intelligence and leverage generative AI tools to improve development velocity.
• Assist in converting high-level designs into detailed, scalable, and maintainable solutions aligned with platform objectives.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and defect management to ensure software quality and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and measurable outcomes.
• Mentor peers and contribute to engineering best practices and innovation.
