A Senior Software Test Engineer at Tivly is a coder responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of an automated test suite that exercises our solutions to uncover defects and performance bottlenecks.

Requirements

Programming: Proficient in languages used for generating tests (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python).
Automation tools: Experience with common testing frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, etc.
CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Bitbucket, GitLab, or similar.
Problem-solving: Strong experience in debugging and diagnosing issues across systems.
AI tools: Experience using AI tools (e.g., GPT, Grok) to accelerate test development and documentation.

Responsibilities

Collaboration: Work with developers and stakeholders to understand requirements and how solutions should operate.
Design, Develop & Maintain: Plan and build automated tests using scripts, code, and testing tools to ensure solution quality and scalability.
Execution & Analysis: Run automated tests and analyze results to help troubleshoot problems with developers.
CI/CD: Integrate automated testing into build pipelines to ensure quality is part of every build.
Documentation: Create technical documentation for all automated tests.
