We are seeking a skilled IT Testing Engineer III with strong experience in QA testing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and executing manual and automated test cases, ensuring high-quality deliverables across projects. Play the role of Claims Domain lead for MMIS health care projects.

Requirements

  • Candidate should have strong health care domain experience and should have good knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare.
  • Candidate should have hands-on experience on claims processing and Adjudication processes.
  • Must have good experience in Reference code/data sets required in Claims adjudication.
  • Must have prior experience or understanding in configuring benefits or programs in claims system across various sub-systems.
  • Must have excellent written and spoken communication skills. Should be able to multitask between internal team and clients based on priority tasks
  • In depth understanding of Claims and Claims lifecycle, Financial
  • EDI X12 formats like 837P/I/D
  • X12 formats 835, 834, 270/271, 276/277
  • Familiarity with test management tools like ADO, JIRA,
  • Interface/API testing tools like Postman

Responsibilities

  • Review and enhance test cases created by test analysts; provide constructive feedback and implement necessary changes.
  • Analyse functional and non-functional requirements in coordination with Business Analysts (BAs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Identify test conditions and develop detailed test cases and test data for comprehensive test coverage.
  • Execute manual and automation tests as per approved Test Plans using appropriate testing tools.
  • Work closely with Test Leads to resolve issues and clarify requirements.
  • Provide weekly status reports on testing progress and escalate risks as needed.
  • Support clients during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) in collaboration with the Test Lead.
  • Ensure compliance with Global Testing Standards (GTS) processes in daily activities.
  • Validate the entire flow from claim intake to payment and reporting.
