Our rapid growth and breadth of accounts translates into exciting opportunities for our people!Job SummaryThe Senior Sous Chef supports the Chef Manager with daily culinary operations, including food preparation, menu execution, staff training, and cost control. This role ensures high standards for food quality, safety, presentation, and service, and serves as the operational lead in the Chef Manager’s absence.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in high-volume, complex foodservice environments
  • Strong leadership and kitchen management background
  • Knowledge of food trends, costing, and presentation standards
  • ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Office and Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure quality and consistency
  • Train, coach, and oversee back-of-house staff
  • Support menu planning, recipe development, and daily or seasonal specials
  • Assist with implementing new culinary programs and concepts
  • Manage inventory, ordering, food waste, and cost controls
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and allergen standards
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and client standards
  • Lead kitchen operations in the Chef Manager’s absence
