Position Summary: Perform research, development and presentation of new or existing products to support the sale of products and/or services. Reviews product performance against expectations and facilitates or influences changes to product portfolio to improve competitive position and optimal product performance. May work with internal or external business constituents to determine product future direction or respond to product inquiries. May be project-based and involve working within multiple product functions. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Requirements

  • Experience with network and embedded system security
  • Proficiency in Rust for embedded system microprocessors
  • Proficiency in software change control and project management tools
  • Proven ability to work 100%25 remotely in a secure environment
  • Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate product performance to help develop and update company goals and objectives
  • Participates in analytical, experimental, investigative and other fact-finding work in support of product development scientists and engineers
  • Collects and classifies new product ideas. Captures specifications for product requirements and functionality
  • Recommend changes to current product development procedures based on market research and new trends
  • Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them
  • Serves as key resource on critical issues and problem solves for innovative solutions
  • May lead functional or segment teams or projects
  • Collaborates with applicable internal and external stakeholders to obtain in-depth information/data regarding internal/external customer needs
  • Gather/analyze/validate applicable data from internal and external sources to identify customer/market characteristics, needs and problems
