Senior Terminal Supervisor
About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Lead daily cement terminal operations to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable product handling. Oversee scheduling, inventory accuracy, and coordination of inbound and outbound shipments. Guide and support terminal employees through clear work direction and coaching. Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate maintenance needs. Drive continuous improvement in safety, productivity, and customer service.
Requirements
- Proven ability to lead union teams and foster a culture of safety and accountability.
- Strong operational decision‑making skills in fast‑paced, logistics‑focused environments.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
- Comfort working with equipment, systems, and processes within an industrial setting.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and functions.
- Must have strong mechanical aptitude and abilities.
