About The Position

The Senior Treasury Analyst reports to the Vice President of Treasury and provides reporting, analysis, and operational oversight across key Treasury functions including Global Bank Services, Liquidity & Collateral Management, Bank Relationship Management, Credit Risk and FX. The role requires strong execution of daily treasury activities while upholding AmTrust’s organizational mission, values, and standards.
This position will be hybrid (Monday - Thursday in office, Friday remote) and can be worked in either our Jersey City, NJ or Manhattan (Financial District), NY office.
The expected salary range for this role is $80,000 - 95,000.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business OR equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in treasury, banking, accounting, OR finance.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking AND financial modeling skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to build cross-functional relationships
• Strong time management and organizational skills; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with attention to detail
• Comfort using AI-enabled tools to support analysis, reporting, forecasting, and process automation

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the opening, closing, and modification of bank accounts in accordance with internal controls and business requirements
• Support funding & liquidity plans across material entities by maintaining accurate source and use assumptions
• Assist with ongoing communication and coordination with banking partners, including inquiries, service requests, fee reviews, and account maintenance
• Support evaluation of banking services and maintain bank scorecard, wallet and relationship reviews for Management
• Assist in monitoring collateral requirements and postings, maintain accurate supporting documentation and work directly with banking partners to facilitate collateral movements
• Support execution and continued framework for FX and credit risk management
• Execute daily cash management including cash positioning, cash activity and cash flow trend analysis
• Leverage Kyriba TMS to enhance reporting accuracy, workflow efficiency and process automation
• Identify & recommend opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving opportunities, including AI-driven enhancements
• Respond to inquiries and support daily treasury investigations, including audit requests
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures and stay current on financial markets and banking regulations
• Perform other functionally related duties as assigned
