About The Position

Transform Complexity Into Clarity at the Forefront of Innovation As a Senior UX Designer on our Digital Experience Team, you'll be the driving force behind the user experience of qualcomm.com and key digital platforms that connect us with customers, partners, and developers worldwide. This isn't your typical corporate design role—it's a unique opportunity to shape how the world experiences one of technology's most influential companies. Why This Role Is Different You'll work at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and human experience, where Qualcomm's most advanced innovations meet the people who build the future with them. This role requires someone who can navigate both realms with confidence—speaking the language of engineers while championing user-centered design principles and visual excellence. Your designs will directly influence business decisions and shape the experiences that power the next generation of connected devices. The Opportunity At Qualcomm, you'll enjoy advantages rarely found together: Unparalleled Cross-Functional Exposure: Work directly with product teams, engineers, and marketers across the entire organization—from 5G and AI to automotive and IoT. Every project expands your understanding of emerging technologies. Fast-Paced, High-Impact Environment: Join a lean, agile team where your work ships quickly and makes an immediate difference. No endless approval chains—just smart collaboration and rapid iteration. Unique Portfolio-Building Work: Design experiences that few designers ever touch—translating complex technologies like neural processing units, RF systems, and chipset architectures into compelling digital experiences for technical and non-technical audiences alike. What You'll Create Your primary focus will be simplifying the complex, serving highly technical audiences and enterprise decision-makers evaluating Qualcomm's diverse technology portfolio. While these are your core users, you'll also design for a remarkable spectrum: consumers exploring partner devices, developers building on our platforms, students learning about our innovations, and industry analysts following our market moves. This breadth means constant learning and variety—no two months look the same. One week your designing data visualization tools for RF engineers; the next, you're crafting the product launch experience for our latest flagship chipset. You'll bring a designer's eye to every pixel, ensuring qualcomm.com reflects the premium quality and innovation of our products. But more importantly, you'll grow your skills in ways few roles allow; gaining deep technical knowledge, business acumen, and cross-organizational leadership experience. This is an office based position located in San Diego, CA and is expected to comply with the company's onsite work policy. This is a U.S. based position and is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
