The busser will clean tables as customers leave dinner area. Responsibilities include transporting dining supplies to kitchen area for cleaning and preparing tables by cleaning and set up for next service. Assists dining room manager/supervisory staff with other miscellaneous duties such as light cleaning of dining area including sweeping, dusting, preparation of dining materials, as necessary. Runners promptly and correctly deliver food to tables, get items requested from customers. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manual labor – takes direction and follows routine tasks as assigned by supervisory/lead staff associated with dining room/restaurant. These tasks include clearing tables after customers have vacated the table; preparing the table with required utensils, plates, glasses, etc. for next customers; carrying trays or bins of kitchen supplies from tables to the dishwashing station.
