About The Position

Snowmass Club is seeking Servers who thrive on hospitality, attention to detail, and building meaningful relationships with members and guests. In this role, you are a key part of delivering exceptional food and beverage service throughout the Club. You set the tone for each dining experience by providing warm, personalized service, confidently guiding members through menu selections, and ensuring every course is served seamlessly from start to finish. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes pride in professionalism and teamwork, and has a true passion for service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Two years of comparable food and beverage service experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional demeanor with a genuine passion for hospitality
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced dining environment
  • Food safety certification required
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Alcohol service certification preferred
  • Frequent standing and walking for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
  • Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, and repetitive motions
  • Ability to work in hot, humid, fast-paced, and occasionally noisy environments

Responsibilities

  • Promote a positive and supportive restaurant culture while demonstrating professionalism in every interaction
  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality and anticipating member needs
  • Support teammates during busy service periods to ensure smooth dining room operations
  • Maintain composure and service excellence in a fast-paced environment
  • Provide immediate, warm attention to members and guests upon seating and present menus
  • Describe daily specials, suggest menu items, and recommend wine or beverage pairings
  • Place orders accurately and communicate special instructions or dietary needs to the kitchen
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently with friendliness, polish, and attention to detail
  • Check back regularly to ensure satisfaction and anticipate additional needs
  • Present dessert menus and suggest coffee, desserts, and after-dinner drinks
  • Thank members and guests sincerely and invite them to return
  • Clear soiled dishes promptly and reset tables with appropriate silverware and glassware
  • Perform assigned side work and assist with opening and closing duties
  • Maintain clean, organized service stations and dining areas
  • Accurately process member charges and credit card transactions according to Club procedures
  • Time the service of each course to ensure a seamless dining experience
  • Learn members’ names, preferences, and dining habits to provide personalized service
  • Maintain strong knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage offerings
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
  • Communicate guest feedback, service opportunities, or concerns to leadership promptly
  • Maintain clean and sanitary dining room and service areas at all times
  • Follow all local and state alcohol service laws and Club policies and procedures
  • Perform required roles during emergency situations
