About The Position
The Server position involves serving guests food and beverages. This position will be customer facing and is responsible for providing excellent food service to venue guests.
Requirements
- Must be able to effectively communicate with guests, management, and team members
- Must possess basic math, reading and writing skills
- Must possess basic computer skills
- Must be multi-task oriented
- Must have knowledge of workplace safety procedures
Responsibilities
- Exhibits professional attitude and presentation
- Knows the menu, including ingredients and prices
- Where appropriate, explains specials and makes recommendations to guests
- Takes orders for food, and effectively communicates with kitchen team members to ensure that food is promptly and properly prepared for guests
- Performs all table service functions with a commitment to meet and exceed guest satisfaction
- Performs assigned side work and assisting team members as needed
- Assist bussing tables, seating guests, taking to-go orders, and maintain FOH cleanliness
- Roll silverware as assigned on a daily basis
- Accurately reports tip income on a daily basis
- Performs other duties as assigned by management
